Asphalt is also really easy to take care of. You just need to get your driveway seal-coated every few years and your driveway will continue to look like new.
Additionally, the black color of your driveway can create a great contrast with the paint on your home and all the colors in your yard. A black driveway can really pop and highlight the other features of your home.
Then Outline Your Driveway
Once you have a new driveway in place, outline your driveway to bring attention to it. One of the best ways to outline your driveway is by using pavers to create a boarder around your new driveway. The same team that installed your new asphalt driveway can also put a layer of pavers around the edge of your driveway to really highlight this key features of the front of your home. If you are looking to save a little money, you can install the pavers around the edge of your driveway yourself. Bricks may be a little expensive to use for your entire driveway, but pavers can affordable when you use them to line your driveway.
Add Some Landscaping Features
Finally, finish off your driveway with some landscaping features. On either side of your garage where it meets with your driveway, purchase some tall plants and fill them with some colorful seasonal flowers. Place some other planters where your new driveway meets with your walkway. Colorful planters can really bring together your driveway with the rest of your home.

About a year ago, I realized that there were all kinds of problems with our home's pavement. The driveway seemed to be chipping apart and the front walkway was desperately cracked. I knew that I had to do something to improve things, so I started working on getting bids to improve things. It was amazing to see how many different pavement options we had and how great of a job one contractor eventually did. The difference was astounding after all of the pavement was broken out and things were fixed. This blog is all about improving your paving and making a significant difference in your home.
